1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of the ROUTN mobile app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use ROUTN.

2. Who we are

3. Eligibility

You must be at least [MINIMUM_AGE] years old to create a ROUTN account.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since ROUTN signs you in with a link sent there. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information — the routine ROUTN builds depends on it.
• Only upload photographs of yourself.
• Do not use ROUTN to store or share anything unlawful.

6. Licence to use ROUTN

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ROUTN for your own personal care. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or build a competing service from it.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another person’s data, disrupt the service, circumvent rate limits or entitlements, scrape the service, or submit content designed to manipulate our AI features.

8. Your content

Your photographs, notes and routine remain yours. We do not claim ownership of them.

9. Permissions we need to run the service

To provide ROUTN you give us permission to store your content, process it to deliver the features you use, and transmit it to the processors listed in our Privacy Policy. This permission exists solely to operate the service for you and ends when you delete the content or your account. It is not permission to use your photographs to train AI models — we do not do that.

10. Our intellectual property

The ROUTN name, app, website, designs and content are owned by us or our licensors.

11. AI features

ROUTN uses AI for photo analysis, product recognition and the Coach. AI output can be incorrect or incomplete. Read the AI & Wellness Notice, which forms part of these terms.

12. Limits of skin and hair information

ROUTN describes visible characteristics in photographs and helps you compare them over time. It does not measure, detect, diagnose or predict any condition, and does not assess the cause of any change in your skin or hair.

13. Not medical advice

ROUTN is a general personal-care and wellness service. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it as a substitute for professional healthcare, and do not delay seeking advice because of something ROUTN showed you.

14. Health concerns and emergencies

If you have a health concern, contact a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency call the emergency services. ROUTN is not a medical service and cannot help in an emergency.

15. Products and recommendations

ROUTN suggests categories of product rather than specific purchases. Product and ingredient information may be incomplete or wrong — always check the packaging, particularly for allergies. If we ever introduce sponsored or affiliate placements they will be clearly labelled and will not change what we recommend.

16. Third-party services

ROUTN relies on the processors listed in our Privacy Policy. Purchases are made through Apple or Google under their own terms.

17. ROUTN Free

The free tier includes set-up, a routine, reminders, an unlimited product cabinet, progress photos with a limited window of history, a one-off allowance of scans to try the product, the concern check and the feedback board. The AI Coach is part of Pro. We may change these limits, and will tell you before reducing anything materially.

18. ROUTN Pro

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. The current price for your country is shown in the app before you buy. A one-off scan pack is sold the same way; it adds scans to the month it is bought in and does not renew.

19. Free trials

ROUTN does not currently offer a free trial, and ROUTN Free never converts into a paid plan. If a trial is ever offered, its length and the price afterwards will be shown before you start it, and it would convert to a paid subscription at the stated price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.

20. Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the same price until cancelled. Your store account is charged at the start of each renewal period.

21. Cancellation

Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. We do not require you to contact us, wait on a call, or complete any additional step to cancel. Deleting your ROUTN account does not cancel your subscription.

22. Refunds

Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. This does not affect any statutory right to cancel or to a refund that you have under UK consumer law.

23. Price and plan changes

We will give you reasonable notice before any price change affecting your subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

24. Availability

We aim to keep ROUTN available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that depend on AI may be temporarily unavailable; your routine, products and progress remain accessible when they are.

25. Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

26. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

27. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and data at any time in the app, or from this website. Some records are retained where the law requires it, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

28. Disclaimers

ROUTN is provided as described in these terms and in the app. We do not promise that its information is complete or suitable for any particular purpose beyond organising a personal care routine. Nothing here excludes or limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

29. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of ROUTN is limited to [LIABILITY_CAP], and we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you started using ROUTN.

30. Your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other consumer protection law. Nothing in these terms affects those rights, and where a term here conflicts with them, your statutory rights prevail.

31. Complaints

32. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live, including the right to bring proceedings there.

33. Changes to these terms

Each version has a version identifier and an effective date. We will tell you about material changes before they take effect.
